Denver to host law enforcement film documentary

The documentary, Heroes Behind The Badge, will be shown in Denver on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at the Harkins Northfield 18 Theatre. It was created to show the sacrifices of the men and women of law enforcement who have put their lives on the line and survived, as well as those who have died in the line of duty.

The Denver Police Department is encouraging government officials, members of neighborhood organizations, business and community leaders, and our citizens to go see this production.

“I look forward to seeing this film. The sacrifices our officers make each day often goes un-noticed. It will change the way we look at the men and women in this profession,” said Denver Police Chief Robert C. White.

Net proceeds will benefit the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and the Denver Police Officers Foundation’s Remembering Our Fallen Fund. Tickets are $20.00 and are available at the PPA, the Denver & Aurora branches of the Rocky Mountain Law Enforcement Fed Credit Union, and the night of the show (Harkins Northfield 18 Theatres, 8300 E. Northfield Blvd near Stapleton).
