Denver police investigate homicide

At approximately 2:17 am, members of the Denver Police Department responded to the 1300 block of Pennsylvania Street on a report of a stabbing. When officers arrived on scene, they located an adult male victim suffering from apparent sharp force injuries. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 20 to 45 years of age, 6’ tall, 180 lbs., with a dark complexion and salt and pepper facial stubble. He was wearing a blue or black coat and white pants at the time of the incident and was last seen fleeing the area heading in a northwest direction through the parking lot and westbound on East 14th Avenue.

Additional information will be released pending further investigation.
