On July 22nd at about 2:20 am, a bicylist was traveling on Lincoln St and was struck by a vehicle traveling northbound on Speer Blvd. The vehicle driver did not stop and drug the victim’s bicycle underneath the vehicle from the scene during flight...
On July 22nd at about 2:20 am, a bicyclist was traveling on Lincoln St and was struck by a vehicle traveling northbound on Speer Blvd. The vehicle driver did not stop and drug the victim’s bicycle underneath the vehicle from the scene during flight. The driver and occupant were observed by citizens pulling the bike from underneath the vehicle in the 100 Blk of W 9th Ave, place it in the rear of the vehicle and continue their flight from the crime. The vehicle is described as a Subaru hatchback that is green or dark in color. The driver is described as female and the passenger as male. The victim, Daniel Peterson, died as a result of his injuries.
The abandoned vehicle was located by Aurora Police in their city several hours after the collision; however, the bicycle was not in it. The bicycle is gold or copper colored and is missing the front wheel.

On December 9, 2010 at about 5 pm, Laura Sherlock (Gorham) was out walking in her Stapleton neighborhood. Mrs. Sherlock, who was pregnant and within two weeks of delivering, was crossing the southbound lanes of Central Park Blvd....
On December 9, 2010 at about 5 pm, Laura Sherlock (Gorham) was out walking in her Stapleton neighborhood. Mrs. Sherlock, who was pregnant and within two weeks of delivering, was crossing the southbound lanes of Central Park Blvd at the eastbound side of E 29th Ave, and was struck by a vehicle that failed to yield the right-of-way. Mrs. Sherlock's child, Edison, suffered significant injury and was delivered under emergency conditions upon arrival at the hospital as a result of this collision. Baby Edison eventually succumbed to his injuries and died later that same day. Mrs. Sherlock suffered life threatening injuries that she continues to recover from. Witnesses described the vehicle as a dark colored SUV or pick-up truck that fled the scene southbound on Central Park Blvd after Mrs. Sherlock was run over and rolled underneath. The witnesses were unable to provide a description of the driver of the hit and run vehicle. Help us solve this crime. Mississippi Ave. The juvenile ran into traffic and was struck by the suspect vehicle, traveling W/B on Mississippi Ave. The suspect vehicle pulled into a parking lot, stopped momentarily, then fled the scene without leaving any information. Witnesses describe the suspect vehicle a green or teal Toyota Highlander. The driver was described as an Asian female. There is no additional information concerning the suspect vehicle or a license plate, no additional description of the driver and no active leads.
