Composting Collection Service Schedule

The City of Denver offers translation in multiple languages by utilizing Google's free translation service. While it's common to find some imperfections in Google translations, this service provides easy access to translation in several different languages at no expense to the City.

How Pilot Areas Were Selected

The areas eligible for the pilot program have been selected to provide a representative sample of the City & County based on a number of different factors (participation level, collection type, etc). At this time, the grant funding for the pilot program limits us to 3,300 homes.

Additionally, the majority of the trucks and personnel to be used in the collection process are only available on Mondays and Fridays.

Winter Composting Collection Service Schedule

Composting collection will switch from every week to every-other-week starting the first week of December and run through March. Please consult your composting collection service calendar for your collection dates. To make it easy to remember, your composting collection will be on the same day as your recycling collection.
