Composting collection will switch from every week to every-other-week starting the first week of December and run through March. Please consult your composting collection service calendar for your collection dates. To make it easy to remember, your composting collection will be on the same day as your recycling collection.

The areas eligible for the pilot program have been selected to provide a representative sample of the City & County based on a number of different factors (participation level, collection type, etc).  At this time, the grant funding for the pilot program limits us to 3,300 homes.

Additionally, the majority of the trucks and personnel to be used in the collection process are only available on Mondays and Fridays.
