Mulch and Compost Resources
Mulching and composting provide great options for healthy yards, cost savings and helping our environment. Check the links below for some great information.

Mulching Leaves at Home
- A bit of rethinking about what you do with your leaves this fall will help your yard maintain more moisture for the winter and into next spring while improving the condition of your soil.

Backyard Composting
- Yard trimmings and food scraps make up about 20 percent of what Denver residents send to the landfill every year. Keep those organic yard resources at home. You can also download a copy of the Denver Recycles Turn Over an Old Leaf! pamphlet.

Worm Composting (vermicompost)
- A fun and clean way to make quick compost at home.

Grasscycling
Easy to do, good for your lawn and saves you time, money, and helps us all save landfill space.

Denver Urban Gardens
- Resources for you and your garden.

Colorado State University Extension - Answer Link
- More resources for you and your garden.
