DOSP E-Newsletter
The Denver Office of Strategic Partnership E-newsletter features the following content each month:
  • Second Wednesday of the Month -- focus on DOSP Programs, Staff and Commission
  • Third Wednesday of the Month -- focus on Census outreach
  • Fourth Wednesday of the Month -- focus on nonprofit events, announcements, jobs and trainings

The contact person for nonprofit announcements is Laura Coale, DOSP Communications Director.  You can reach Laura at laura.coale@denvergov.org.

The deadline to submit items for the nonprofit edition will be the third Friday of each month.  Please review the critieria below for newsletter submissions.
 
To Submit an Item for the DOSP E-Newsletter
We will only list events from nonprofit organizatons or events hosted by for-profit organizations that are free to nonprofit organizations.  Content should not contain advertisements or solicitations for profit. Content should not be related to religious activities of individual religious organizations.
 
To submit an event or an announcement for the DOSP e-newsletter, please follow these guidelines:
  1. Your Event or Announcement Description may only be 35 words or less. 
  2. Submit your Event or Announcement Description in sentence-format in the body of your email and not as an attachment.
  3. Include your Event Title.
  4. Include a Description of your event.  Please tell us what makes your event worth attending.
  5. Include the Day and the Date of your event.  For instance, Saturday, August 29.
  6. If relevant, please include the Time of your event.
  7. Include the Location/Venue of your event.
  8. Include Contact Information for those who wish to learn more about your event.  Only include a website address or a phone number.  No email addresses.
  9. Items must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. the third Friday prior to the next nonprofit e-newsletter.
  10. Items run only once and about one month prior to your event.
  11. You will receive a confirmation email that your item has been received.  If you do not receive a confirmation, it means we did not receive your submission.
Example: 
Indulge in a paradise of shopping and philanthropy at Warren Village’s Annual Great American Jacket Exchange on Thursday, October 11 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Oxford Hotel.  For more information, call 303.320.5034.

For job announcements, please send only the following information in the body of your email:  
  1. Job Title
  2. Organization Name
  3. Organization Website

We do not list internships in the DOSP e-newsletter.


Before submitting, please double check that you have followed all of the guidelines.  Your item will not run if it is not properly submitted.  Submit your item to laura.coale@denvergov.org.
