Streets and Sidewalks

Street maintenance is upkeep of the existing streets, such as pothole and sinkhole repair, pavement patching and minor curb and gutter repair. Maintenance is performed according to the level of need and available resources.

 

Street improvement is the improvement of the street infrastructure, such as paving of unimproved alleys, repaving of whole street sections and major curb and gutter repair projects. Street improvements are scheduled and completed based on short-term need and the long-term paving plan.
