Join Us on August 13th to create a vision for the 40th and Colorado station area in Denver!  This station will be an important stop between Downtown Denver and DIA along the East Corridor commuter rail line in 2016.  A 1/2-mile area surrounding the station includes portions of Swansea, Northeast Park Hill and Clayton neighborhoods (see image below).

    • What kind of neighborhood could this station area be in 5, 10 or 20 years?
    • What types of housing, employment or neighborhood amenities should be encouraged, and where?
    • How can access to the station platform be improved by foot, bike, vehicle or bus route?
    • How can the built environment affect our health, for the better or for the worse?

Your input will help to shape a vision for this station area, which will be included in an updated Elyria-Swansea Neighborhood Plan to be adopted by the City Council by Spring of 2015.

This public meeting will focus on community design around the 40th and Colorado station.  Topics will include land uses, connectivity, station access, building heights, storm water quality and other important considerations.

Food and child care and Spanish interpretation will be provided.
