The Denver Zoning Code (officially known as Chapter 59 of the Revised Municipal Code, or RMC) establishes standards for uses within structures and/or unenclosed uses on private property within the City & County of Denver. In certain circumstances Zoning Administration may approve an application for a Temporary Use on private property. RMC section 59-81, below, provides allowances for temporary construction activities and applies uniformly to all zone districts in
Denver. This section applies when the use of land, other than a development site, is needed to support nearby development or construction or construction activities. Typical examples include a yard for staging of construction materials, construction trailers and/or parking for construction workers. This section contains provisions to protect nearby residential uses from the effects of the temporary use and to limit the length of time a temporary use may be permitted. Permits for temporary uses are required before establishment of a temporary use, most Temporary use permits are issued over the counter at the Webb Building
