The Department of Transportation & Infrastructure (“DOTI”), City and County of Denver (“City”), has issued a Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) for Construction Manager/General Contractor (“CM/GC”) services for the project named above. General Statement of Work:
The City and County of Denver is soliciting proposals from interested firms to provide Construction Management/General Contractor (CM/GC) services for complex renovation of the existing PADF Facility for relocation of DPD #6. 1331 Cherokee Street, Denver, CO 80203. The project includes a complex renovation of the PADF facility to include complete demolition of the existing interior and exterior down to structure.
The project described above is part of the 2017 Elevate Denver Bond Program, which is a 10-year, $937 million general obligation bond program approved by voters in 2017. The program will enhance the City and County of Denver by providing critical improvements to the City’s infrastructure – improving our roads, sidewalks, parks, recreation centers, libraries, cultural centers, public-owned buildings and safety facilities. Prequalification: Each contractor must be prequalified in category 2A General Building Unoccupied Building at the $50,000,000.00 monetary level in accordance with the City’s Rules and Regulations Governing Prequalification of Contractors. Each contractor must have submitted a prequalification application a minimum of ten (10) calendar days prior to the Proposal due date. Applications must be submitted via B2Gnow. Contracts for construction, reconstruction, and remodeling are subject to the City prevailing wage rate requirements established pursuant to Section 20-76, DRMC.
City contracts are subject to payment of City Minimum Wage established pursuant to Section 20-82 through 20-84 DRMC.
As the City’s best interests may appear, the Executive Director of the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure reserves the right to waive informalities in, and to reject any or all proposals.
