The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, City and County of Denver, has issued a Request for Qualifications (the “RFQ”) for Heron Pond Phase 1B and Phase 2 Maintenance Services. General Statement of Work:

The City and County of Denver, Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, hereinafter referred to as the City, desires to solicit Request of Qualifications submittals (“RFQ”) relating to maintenance for two overlapping phases of construction for the Carpio-Sanguinette Park/Heller Open Space/Heron Pond (Heron Pond) site.  Maintenance will begin upon substantial completion of the first phase, Heron Pond Phase 1B, which graded the site, created a water quality pond, paved the adjacent streets, and installed storm, water, and sanitary for the second phase.  Heron Pond Phase 2 will begin construction approximately 6 months after this project’s NTP and will take approximately 12 months to install the park improvements.  Maintenance of the park will continue for three years after the construction.  Maintenance consists of general site upkeep, as well as maintaining, repairing, and/or replacing of landscaping (Trees, bushes, mulch, squeegee, and irrigation).

Contracts for construction, reconstruction, and remodeling are subject to the City prevailing wage rate requirements established pursuant to Section 20-76, D.R.M.C.

City contracts are subject to payment of City Minimum Wage established pursuant to Section 20-82 through 20-84 D.R.M.C.

As the City’s best interests may appear, the Executive Director of the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure reserves the right to waive informalities in, and to reject any or all, proposals.
