General Statement of Work
The project will remove one through lane in each direction on Mississippi Avenue from Quivas to Eliot Street. Raised medians will be constructed to restrict turns from side-streets while still allowing left turns from Mississippi Avenue to select side streets. It will also build curb extensions and ADA ramp replacement at various intersections throughout the project limits. Lastly select drainage inlets and lateral connections will be relocated to accommodate the curb extensions.

Estimated Construction Cost: Between $3,400,000.00 and $3,800,000.00.

City of Denver Prequalification: Each bidder must be prequalified in category 1A Heavy Civil OR 1F-3 Concrete Sidewalk, Curb, Gutter, and ADA Ramps at or above the $6,000,000.00 monetary level in accordance with the City’s Rules and Regulations Governing Prequalification of Contractors. Each bidder must have submitted a prequalification application a minimum of ten (10) calendar days prior to the response due date.
