General Statement of Work
The scope of work for this project includes signing, striping, removals, concrete, asphalt, signal, and landscaping work to update the intersections at 2 locations in the City and County of Denver.

This project is part of the 2021 RISE Denver Bond Program, which is a 10-year, $260 million general obligation bond program approved by voters in 2021. The program will drive economic recovery by creating thousands of jobs, investing in local businesses, and bringing critical infrastructure and community assets to historically underserved areas of the city. Through four different categories of infrastructure projects, RISE Denver will serve our most vulnerable residents and unhoused neighbors, increase mobility and safety in our neighborhoods and accessibility within city facilities, and preserve Denver’s history and culture through building restorations.  More information can be found on the City’s RISE Denver website

Prequalification: Each bidder must be prequalified in category 1A - Heavy Civil at or above the $6,000,000.00 monetary level in accordance with the City’s Rules and Regulations Governing Prequalification of Contractors. Each bidder must have submitted a prequalification application a minimum of ten (10) calendar days prior to the response due date. Applications must be submitted via B2Gnow. Prevailing Wage and Minimum Wage: Contracts for construction, reconstruction, and remodeling are subject to the City prevailing wage rate requirements established pursuant to Section 20-76, D.R.M.C. City contracts are subject to payment of City Minimum Wage established pursuant to Section 20-82 through 20-84 D.R.M.C.

As the City’s best interests may appear, the Executive Director of the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure reserves the right to waive informalities in, and to reject any or all, submittals.
