General Statement of Work
The Tennessee & Oneida Storm Phase 3 project is the 3rd of 4 phases to complete the entire reach that will relieve flooding in S Oneida St at the existing sump located just north of Tennessee Ave. Phase 3 will install 8’ x 7’ RCBC in Mississippi Ave from approximately 100’ east of S Monaco St Pkwy, where Phase 2 left off, to the intersection of Mississippi Ave and S Oneida St, about 50’ north of Mississippi Ave. This project will also relocate existing sanitary main from Monaco St Pkwy to approximately midway between Monaco and Oneida in Mississippi Ave. The project will also include asphalt paving, concrete curb and gutter, landscaping restoration, and miscellaneous concrete flatwork restoration.

Estimated Construction Cost: Between $8,500,000.00 and $9,400,000.00 (updated in Addendum No. 3). The new estimated cost of construction for this project is between $8,700,000.00 and $9,600,000.00.

Prequalification: Each bidder must be prequalified in category 1E(4) Piped Sewer at or above the $10,000,000.00 monetary level in accordance with the City’s Rules and Regulations Governing Prequalification of Contractors. Each bidder must have submitted a prequalification application a minimum of ten (10) calendar days prior to the response due date. Applications must be submitted via B2Gnow. Prevailing Wage and Minimum Wage: Contracts for construction, reconstruction, and remodeling are subject to the City prevailing wage rate requirements established pursuant to Section 20-76, D.R.M.C. City contracts are subject to payment of City Minimum Wage established pursuant to Section 20-82 through 20-84 D.R.M.C.
As the City’s best interests may appear, the Executive Director of the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure reserves the right to waive informalities in, and to reject any or all, submittals.
