The Department of Transportation & Infrastructure (“DOTI”), City and County of Denver (“City”), has issued a Request for Qualifications (the “RFQ”) for a Safe Routes to School Program Manager. RFQ documents will be available for download at www.bidnetdirect.com/cityandcountyofdenverdoti.

General Statement of Work: The City & County of Denver’s Department of Transportation & Infrastructure (DOTI) is seeking responses to the RFQ from experienced active transportation, engagement, and education consultants to be awarded up to $221,381.00 to operate the Walk.Bike.Roll.Lead! grant program. The purpose of this partnership is to expand DOTI’s Safe Routes To School (SRTS) initiative to high schools, creating K-12 curriculum, educational modules, and engagement events through teachers, school champions, and community-based education partners. The Consultant will work with DOTI to document best practices to grow capacity and program sustainability, supporting a long-term culture of active transportation at Denver schools through locally-tested, youth-driven, and equity-based strategies. The SRTS Education Program Manager contract term will be from contract execution to December 31, 2027.

General: City contracts are subject to payment of City Minimum Wage established pursuant to Section 20-82 through 20- 84 D.R.M.C.

As the City’s best interests may appear, the Executive Director of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI) reserves the right to waive informalities in, and to reject any or all proposals.
