The Department of Transportation & Infrastructure (“DOTI”), City and County of Denver (“City”), has issued a Request for Qualifications (the “RFQ”) for the Central Platte Valley Campus Salt Dome Reroof Project. RFQ documents will be available for download at www.bidnetdirect.com/cityandcountyofdenverdoti.
General Statement of Work: The City and County of Denver (City) is soliciting qualifications from interested firms to qualify for bidding eligibility on the Central Platte Valley Campus Salt Dome Reroof Project. The goal of the project is to reroof the Central Platte Valley Campus Salt Dome, including removal and replacement of asphalt shingles, installation of high‑wind and impact‑resistant roofing materials, limited plywood deck replacement, and removal/replacement of entry‑area vinyl siding. Materials must meet UL Class A Fire Rating, UL 2218 Impact Rating, ASTM wind ratings, and be corrosion‑resistant due to salt-sand mix exposure.
This project is being procured through a two-stage bid approach of RFQ and construction hard bid, as recommended by the Manager of DOTI Contract & Procurement and Director of DOTI IA due to the specialized experience required for the project.
Mandatory Site Visit will be held at 2:00 p.m., local time, September 10, 2026. In conjunction with the site visit, pre-submittal information will be discussed. Please RSVP and the site visit details will be sent via email.
Questions Deadline: September 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., local time.
Submittals must be received by 2:00 p.m. local time on September 30, 2026, via the online electronic bid service through BidNet. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Prevailing Wage and Minimum Wage:Contracts for construction, reconstruction, and remodeling are subject to the City prevailing wage rate requirements established pursuant to Section 20-76, DRMC. City contracts are subject to payment of City Minimum Wage established pursuant to Section 20-82 through 20-84 DRMC.
General: As the City’s best interests may appear, the Executive Director of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI) reserves the right to waive informalities in, and to reject any or all proposals.
