This area was identified in the Elyria/Swansea neighborhood plan as a location where addition and improvement of sidewalks could enhance the bicyclist and pedestrian experience particularly in the first and last mile commute from the 40th and Colorado RTD light rail station.
  • GES Sidewalk - 42nd Ave (Monroe St to Jackson St)
    This project will improve existing sidewalks on 42nd Ave that are not currently up to city standards. This area was identified in the Elyria/Swansea neighborhood plan as a location where improvement of sidewalks would enhance the bicyclist and the pedestrian experience, particularly in the first and last mile commute from the 40th and Colorado RTD light rail station.

This location was identified in the Elyria/Swansea neighborhood plan as a need for better connectivity between the community, Swansea Park and the Swansea Recreation Center.

    This project will improve sidewalks and curb ramps at intersections along 45th Ave between Broadway and Washington St. The intersections were identified in the Globeville neighborhood plan and beautification of 45th Ave was identified as a transformative project. 45th Ave is the historic main street for Globeville and making the improvements to curb ramps will improve the pedestrian experience and will bring all curb ramps up to ADA requirements.
