Denver Great Kids Head Start

Providing early education programs, support services and parent training to qualified families with children ages 0 to 5 and pregnant women at no cost.

Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+)

Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) is public low-cost health insurance for certain children and pregnant women. It is for people who earn too much to qualify for Health First Colorado (Colorado's Medicaid program), but not enough to pay for private health insurance.

Family Promise of Denver

We focus on stable housing, employment, and savings. By combining these three pillars of long-term stability with supportive programs such as rental assistance, extended case management, community mentors, and other supports, we aim to end homelessness, one family at a time.

SafeHouse Denver

SafeHouse Denver is the only agency in the city and county of Denver that provides a full continuum of trauma-informed services to support survivors of domestic violence and their children. These services include a 24-Hour Crisis & Information Line, an Emergency Shelter, an Extended Stay Program, and a non-residential Counseling & Advocacy Center.

Salvation Army - Lambuth Center

The Lambuth Family Center is an emergency shelter serving families struggling with homelessness in the Denver area. The goal of the Lambuth Family Center is to help families break the cycle of poverty and homelessness and to begin building a sustainable, self-sufficient lifestyle.

Samaritan House

Samaritan House is a ministry operated by Catholic Charities, a 501(c)(3). Since 1986, we have helped people secure sufficient food and clothing, the ability to earn a living wage, and affordable housing.

The Gathering Place

The Gathering Place is the only daytime drop-in center in metropolitan Denver that serves women, transgender individuals, and their children who are experiencing poverty, many of whom are also experiencing homelessness. While we refer to those we serve as "members", no fees are ever charged for programs or services.

The Mission - Volunteers of America

The Mission is a daytime shelter that provides clients with food, clothing, job training, employment assistance, spiritual guidance, referrals, and a safe place for relaxation and refreshment.

Urban Peak

Urban Peak has a 40-bed overnight shelter for youth ages 15 through 20. We are open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, and offer a safe and welcoming environment where we respect the rights and identities of the youth we serve. We are a safe place for LGBTIQ youth and accept their orientation and identity.
