Denver Days

A Decade of Denver Days: Celebrating the Spirit of the Mile High City July 30 - August 7

Celebrating The Spirit Of The Mile High City

What is Denver Days?

Mayor Michael B. Hancock envisioned a city where neighbors not only knew their neighbors but as a result felt safer and more connected to the communities they call home.

10 years ago the Mayor turned that vision into reality by creating Denver Days, a program during the first week of August that encourages neighbors to get to know their fellow neighbors by hosting block parties, picnics, and service projects with the focus on small, organic gatherings.

Event Permits

If you haven’t already secured your Park Picnic permit or Block Party permit please do so now. Deadline to register your event is July 15, 2022.

Remember the City and County of Denver will waive your park picnic permit. Parks do fill up fast so make sure you have a few options in mind in your neighborhood if your first option isn’t available. Block party permits are also waived and Denver will provide free barricades to ensure your street is closed safely. We are limited with how many barricades we have available so get your block party permit today!

Registration for Denver Days 2022 is now closed.
