Denver 8 TV is now available via DenverTV — a new video service where you can watch live City Council meetings, listen to stories from your community, and learn about programs and resources — on demand and across your favorite devices.

Denver 8 TV is the government access television station for the City and County of Denver.

What's on DenverTV

DenverTV includes a live broadcast feed as well as programming on demand. Watch meetings and press conferences live, catch the latest stories from Elevating Denver, or learn about city programs and resources.

Watch through a web browser at DenverTV.com or download the app, available on iOS and the Google Play app stores for mobile devices. You can download the DenverTV app for your television by visiting the app store on a streaming device such as Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Roku, or Google, and searching for DenverTV.

You do not need an account to watch DenverTV and there is no cost to view or stream.

Meeting Broadcast Schedule

Watch City Council, legislative and committee sessions, and other government meetings live or on demand.

  • Budget & Policy – live on the second and fourth Monday at 1:30 pm 
  • City Council – live Mondays at 3:30 pm
    • City council meetings are also livestreamed via Zoom in English and Spanish. Denver TV does not support public input, which may only be done in person, via Zoom, or by phone. You must register in advance.
  • Mayor-Council – live Tuesdays at 9:30 am
  • Community Planning & Housing – live on Tuesdays at 1:30 pm
  • Finance & Business – live on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 10:30 am
  • Governance & Intergovernmental Relations – live on the third Tuesday of the month at 10:30 am
  • Health & Safety – live Wednesdays at 10:30 am
  • South Platte River – live on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 1:30 pm
  • Transportation & Infrastructure – live on the first and third Wednesday of the month at 1:30 pm
  • Parks, Arts & Culture – live on the first Tuesday of the month at 10:30 am
  • Independent Audit – live on the third Thursday at 9 am
  • Planning Board – live on the first and third Wednesday of the month at 3 pm

DenverTV will stream all local government meetings live. Past meetings will stay on the app for 6 months.

Denver8 operations and facilities provide media production services to the elected branches of city government and to city departments and agencies. We provide fully scheduled video programming services on cable TV and online. Denver8 is also available on Comcast cable channel 8/880 in Denver.
