What would happen if Denver faced a natural disaster, health emergency or terrorist attack? Under most scenarios, Denver Environmental Health and Denver Public Health Preparedness Program would partner to address public medical issues, provide vaccinations, assure a safe food supply, identify environmental clean-up issues, set up an emergency morgue and even provide shelter to lost and homeless pets.
In the event of an emergency, actions taken by Department personnel and the public before and after an emergency will help expedite response and minimize damages. This site provides information to help the public prepare for and react to a large scale emergency.
