Denver seeing unprecedented permit demand

Denver is seeing unprecedented demand for building permits, and our limited staff is working harder than ever to keep pace. Citywide permit demand may affect your project’s review time and/or your wait time at our permit counter.

We are taking major steps to improve the services we provide, including hiring, paying overtime, and outsourcing some reviews. We know your time is valuable, and we will continue to work hard to keep pace with permit demand, while making changes behind the scenes for long-term success.

Thank you for your patience during Denver’s building boom.
