Emergency medical vehicle company

Providing, operating, conducting, maintaining, advertising, or otherwise engaging in or professing to be engaged in the business of transportation of patients by an emergency medical vehicle.

An emergency medical vehicle means:
  • Any private or public owned land or airborne vehicle, intended for the transportation of individuals who are sick, injured or otherwise incapacitated or helpless.
  • Is constructed or modified and equipped.
  • Is intended, maintained or operated for the transportation on the streets and highways in the city.
  • A fixed wing aircraft operating between the city and locations outside the city is exempt.

Emergency medical technicians employed by the emergency medical vehicle company must be state certified.

Owner must be 18 years old or older.
