Submit a Public Comment

The Denver Elections Division offers opportunities for members of the public to give input on various topics, including vote center locations, ballot layout, pro and con statements, and more.

We are now accepting public comment in favor of or against the ballot measures that will be on the Nov. 5, 2024 General Election ballot. If you submit a comment, it may be included in the Ballot Information Booklet sent to all Denver voters before the election. 

  • Comments must be 500 words or fewer and must relate to a specific ballot measure.
  • Commenters may not mention the names of people or private groups, or any endorsements or resolutions for or against any measure. 
  • On the comment form, you must include your legal name and residential address. This information will not be published with your comment in the Ballot Information Booklet. 
  • If multiple people submit comments about the same measure and the combined comments exceed 500 words, the Office of the Denver Clerk and Recorder is required to summarize the comments into one comment of 500 words or fewer. 

The deadline to submit comments on ballot measures that are not related to taxes was at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024. The comment portal for non-tax-related measures is now closed.
