We are growing our team! Denver’s Office of Climate Action, Sustainability, and Resiliency (CASR) works to enable a sustainable, resilient, climate-safe future for all of Denver in collaboration with fellow departments, other units of government, and community partners. We lead the development of innovative programs, policy, and community-based services. CASR ensures that our goals are aligned with current climate science, promotes the role that climate action and sustainability play in strengthening Denver's economic vitality and a prosperous future for all, and embraces equity as a value and practice in all its work. CASR is responsible for managing the Climate Protection Fund (CPF), which will disburse $35M annually for climate mitigation, adaptation, and resilience initiatives. Learn more at www.denvergov.org/sustainability.

CASR has an opening for an Energy Project Manager. This is a new position within the office that will support the Municipal Energy Resources functional area of the Renewable Energy Team. We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual with the ability to effectively manage Denver's distributed energy resources and implement energy efficiency initiatives across multiple agencies and facility management teams. This role is a key member of the CASR Energy Team, reporting to the Renewable Energy Specialist. The Energy Project Manager will support the attainment of the City's 100% renewable electricity goal and early compliance with the Energize Denver Policy requirements for municipal facilities.
