Montbello Recreation Center and Harvard Gulch Recreation Center will begin installing solar carports in March 2023. Due to the installation certain parking lot spaces will experience closures. Operation of the recreation centers will continue as normal and alternative parking will be available.

Denver is installing 11 community solar gardens as a citywide effort to build, host, and share the benefits of solar energy.

Denver is offering funding for public schools to incorporate solar into outdoor learning spaces.

Renewables & Resilience Incentive Program for Human Service Providers

Denver offers a financial incentive encouraging non-profit Human Service Providers to install solar panels, battery storage, and/or vehicle-to-building electric vehicle charging.
