The ordinance sets energy-saving targets for buildings 25,000 sq. ft. and larger and prescriptive upgrades for buildings 5,000-24,999 sq. ft.
Equitable Community Tree Planting Initiative Trees make our quality of life better. Some neighborhoods have ten times fewer trees than others in the city. These low-tree neighborhoods are also more vulnerable to the worst effects of climate change, like extreme heat and illness. We are working to plant 2,100 trees by 2025.
