Most approved trainings cost less than $2,500. That means for many participants, this program can cover the full cost of leveling up. Take one certification or stack several. Either way, you’re investing in your future and getting paid back for it.

Eligibility:

To qualify for training rebates, you must meet one of these criteria: 

• You are a student at a Denver college or trade school 
• You work for a Denver-based business
• You live in Denver 

Your application requires you to upload a document proving your eligibility. Refer to the "How to Apply" section for what documents we will accept.

Other requirements: 

• Your request must be submitted in the same calendar year in which you completed your training. Only trainings finished in 2026 can get a rebate.  
• You must upload proof that you completed the training.
  • Proof must show your name and completion date.
• You must upload proof that you paid for the training.
  • Proof must show the amount paid. 

How Does it Work? 

1. Take an Approved Training
   • Choose a course, certification, or exam from the approved list.
2. Complete and Pay for It
   • Finish your training and keep your documentation.
3. Apply for Your Rebate
   • Submit your application with proof of completion and payment.
4. Get Paid Back
   • If approved, you’ll receive your rebate via e-check to the email that you provided.

Applying for the Rebate

Following these steps will help you have a smooth application process.

1. Gather your eligibility documents before you start. 
   • For Students, you can provide a copy of:
     • Student ID, Enrollment, or registrar letter
     • Tuition bill
     • Transcript for the current term
   • For Employees working in Denver, you can provide:
     • A recent pay stub
     • An employment verification letter
     • A W2 from a Denver employer
   • For people living in Denver, you can provide:
     • Colorado ID or driver’s license with a Denver address
     • Lease or mortgage statement
     • Utility bill
     • Mail from a government agency
     • Voter registration card
     • Vehicle registration or insurance 
2. Fill out the Training Rebate Request Form and upload all required files.

3. We will review your application and follow up with you if we need more information
4. If you qualify, you will get an approval email from our program administrator, APTIM.
5. You will receive an e-check at the email address you provided. 

You may apply several times, up to $2,500 per person.
