Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency

Denver’s Office of Climate Action is eliminating pollution and waste while investing in clean energy and resiliency. We do this to protect all our communities for future generations. The city is already experiencing the consequences of climate change. Extreme heat, drought, flooding, and worsening air quality are more common. Action is more important than ever.

Science guides our goals. The community shapes our approach. The Climate Protection Fund is the backbone of this effort. This fund dedicates more than $40 million to climate action every year. The climate crisis is solvable. Together, we are the ones to solve it.
