Information to know before you arrive

Our services have changed.

Counter services are for customers who have questions about their plans or city codes, or who need help navigating e-permits. Projects will not be accepted for review at the counter. All projects must apply for permits using our online services.

The counter offers these services:

  • Pre-application assistance
  • Questions about zoning or building codes 
  • E-permits help
  • General questions on permitting procedures/requirements

The counter does not accept plans and does not issue permits.

Public health is still a priority.

While we are thrilled to meet our customers in person again, the health of our staff, customers, and community remains a priority. If you are not feeling well, please contact us by phone or email.

We cannot plug in external devices to city computers.

Customers who have questions about their plans or documents can bring hard copies, can provide a link to download the files, or can provide the record number for staff to look up files that have already been submitted for review.
