Function: The general purpose of the committee is to render advice and recommendations to the executive directors of Denver’s Community Planning and Development (CPD) and Denver’s Department of Public Health and Environment (DDPHE) regarding green building standards.
Qualifications: Representative(s) of the design sector; material and component manufacturers and suppliers sector; construction sector; research sector; green roof industry sector; renewable energy industry sector; energy efficiency industry sector; and water quality/capture requirements expert(s), each of whom shall be appointed by the mayor, as well as a representative from the department of community planning and development’s building permitting and inspections services agency; a representative from the department of community planning and development department’s landmark preservation staff; a representative from the department of public health and environment; and a representative from the department of public works, each of whom shall be appointed by their respective executive directors.
