Function: The general purpose of the committee is to render advice and recommendations to the executive directors of Denver’s Community Planning and Development (CPD) and Denver's Office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency (CASR) regarding green building standards.

Qualifications: Representative(s) of the following sectors, each of whom shall be appointed by the mayor:

  • Design
  • Material and component manufacturers and suppliers
  • Construction  
  • Research
  • Green roof industry
  • Renewable energy industry
  • Energy efficiency industry
  • Water quality/capture requirements expert(s)

Representatives from the following City and County of Denver agencies, each of whom shall be appointed by their respective executive directors:

  • CPD's building permitting and inspections services
  • CPD's Landmark Preservation staff
  • CASR
  • Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI)
