Biography:

Charlie Brown brought a diverse background to council, ranging from teaching real estate, public relations, and lobbying. Brown, known as the “cowboy councilman," was often decked out in his western shirts and a bolo tie. In 2013, Brown’s leadership helped define and implement Denver’s ordinances that regulate the marijuana industry. Brown also served on the Metro Wastewater Reclamation Board and VISIT DENVER, the Convention & Visitors Bureau Board.
