Denver Property Tax Relief Program

The Denver Property Tax Relief Program provides a partial refund of property taxes paid, or the equivalent in rent, to qualifying Denver residents. If you are eligible, you will receive a payment of at least $372, with an average refund of $1,000. You will receive your refund in the form or electronic payment or a check sent by mail.

Older Adult Resource Guide

The HRCP Aging Division, in collaboration with city agencies and community organizations, created the Older Adult Resource Guide to connect Denver’s older adults and caregivers with essential programs, services, and supports for healthy aging and community living, and we invite all community members to explore the wide range of services and programs available in our community. As you or your family members age, you may need support to help you maintain your health, safety, and independence. Our trained staff at Denver Human Services here to answer your questions and help you access the programs and services you need.

Denver Snow Angels

Denver Snow Angels is a Denver Human Rights & Community Partnerships' program to assist community members in Denver who are physically unable to shovel their front sidewalks, including adjacent ADA ramps and bus stops, during the cold winter months. This is a volunteer-based initiative created to connect neighbors with one another and to prevent possible fines for non-compliance with city ordinance.

HRCP Aging Division

The Denver Human Rights & Community Partnerships (HRCP) Aging Division strives to empower older adults living in Denver with programs and services that enhance their safety, dignity, and independence. Through strong community partnerships and outreach, unwavering advocacy, and ongoing education, we work to make Denver an inclusive and accessible community for our aging population.

Commission on Aging

The Denver Commission on Aging (DCoA) works to make Denver a great place for older adults through outreach, communication, and advocacy. The Commission advocates for the rights and needs of older adults, empowers them by sharing information and community resources, and monitors legislation and policy changes that impact their well-being.
