Public art in Southeast Denver has increased thanks to Denver Arts & Venues, the arts & culture work group and community volunteers.

Submit your interest to be a panelist for future public art projects!

We are always looking for community members, artists, and arts professionals to join our selection panels! Selection panels are responsible for establishing each project’s goals, reviewing applications and selecting and interviewing semi-finalists, and selecting an artist for the commission. Sculptures on the High Line Horizon

Big news for the High Line Canal Trail! On December 4th, the selection panel chose an artist and proposal for the project. The concept is going through internal approvals and will be ready to share soon!

Ross-University Hills Library

The call for artists for the Ross-University Hills Library project closed on December 1, and the panel is hard at work
reviewing submissions. Finalists will be selected on January 22—stay tuned for the creative talent that will shape this space!

Bethesda Park

Nearly 90artists applied for the Bethesda Park project, and the selection process is also underway! This exciting commission will bring art to one of Denver’s newest parks, acquired through the Parks Legacy Fund approved by voters in 2018. Final artist selection is expected in early 2026.

Rosamond Park

Looking ahead to 2026, Rosamond Park will kick off a brand-new public art project—more details and a call for artists coming in 2026!
