Budget & Policy Committee

The primary purpose of the Budget and Policy Committee is to ensure council members are appropriately briefed on the the city's short-term and long-term budget planning.

The Land Use, Transportation and Infrastructure Committee handles policy involving, Community Planning and Development, Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, Denver Parks & Recreation, and Denver Water.

The Safety, Housing, Education and Homelessness Committee has responsibility and oversight over the following agencies:

  • Office of Children's Affairs
  • Office of the Independent Monitor
