The Application Process

While you may submit your interest for a board at any time, we only review applications when there is an opening. The Boards and Commissions Selection Subcommittee reviews applications and may contact applicants for an interview. Successful candidates will go through the normal legislative process. The appointment will be heard in committee, then voted on by the full council. This can take three to four weeks.
