South by Southeast | Saturday, August 20, 2022 | 11 AM - 7 PM | Bible Park

We are excited for the 2022 South by Southeast (SxSE) community festival! There will be food trucks, beer garden, live music, vendors, kid's games, and much much more! We are kicking off the festival with a Bike Parade around Bible Park at 11:00 AM. Decorate your bike, scooter, stroller, wheelchair, etc. and join us for the parade. Can’t wait to see you there!

History of South by Southeast

South by Southeast was developed after an extensive visioning series to find out what southeast Denver residents wanted to see in the district. Community members expressed a strong desire for improved restaurants and retail, walkability and bikeability, and a community gathering place. While we continue to work to create this grand vision for the area, planning and development can take a very long time. So, we put together a one-day community festival to showcase all the possibilities and opportunities available in southeast Denver. We enlisted the help of our working groups to plan the first annual SxSE that was held on August 19, 2017 in Bible Park. We couldn't have done it without our great volunteers and working group members! Thank you!
