This will be the final meeting for the public to share feedback on the new DPS districts. The DPS Board of Education is composed of five representative districts and two at-large members. According to Colorado state law, after each US Census, DPS must adjust the Board representative district borders in order to balance the total population in each district. If you would like to speak in this meeting, please sign up for public comment beforehand.
March 28 | City E-Bike Rebate Program Reopens | 11 AM
Denver residents can save $300 off the price of an e-bike, and residents who qualify for the income-qualified rebate can save up to $1,200 off the price of an e-bike. Purchasing an e-cargo bike adds an extra $200 to both the standard and income-qualified vouchers. On average, e-bike users ride 26 miles a week on their e-bike by running errands and going to work. The Mayor of Denver appoints commissioners for three-year terms and can serve up to two consecutive terms. The Commission meets monthly the first Tuesday of each month from 4 - 6 PM at various cultural organizations across the city. Ballots will be mailed out the week of March 13 for Denver's Municipal Election. All municipal offices are up for election including mayor, all city council seats, auditor and clerk & recorder. Make sure to return your ballot by mail on March 27 or place in a drop box by April 4. You can drop your ballot off at these southeast Denver locations: Hampden Library, Eisenhower Recreation Center, Southmoor RTD Station, and Denver Police Department District 3. This free symposium offers food trucks and trailers presentations, vendor booths, fire and food safety courses, and time to mingle with attendees and other local jurisdictions. Communicate directly with the agencies responsible for regulating food trucks in Denver including Denver Fire, Department of Public Health, and Excise and License. A variety of food truck industry businesses will be there including food truck fabricators, suppression system inspections companies, hood cleaning companies, restaurant food and equipment suppliers, commissary operators, and more.
