Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) interview waivers are ending October 31, 2024 for renewals, and interviews will resume November 1, 2024. SNAP recipients will be contacted for renewals and to set up interviews from the number 720-944-4347 (DNVR Human SVC may appear on the caller ID).

Food, cash, medical eligibility assistance, and EBT services will close at 12 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2024. Normal operating hours will resume on Monday, October 7, 2024

Limited Services Notice: Third Wednesday of Every Month (2-4 p.m.) | Plan ahead! Denver Human Services has adjusted services on the third Wednesday of every month (Oct. 16, Nov. 20, Dec. 18) between 2-4 p.m. Food, cash and medical services, and EBT services, will not be available at our locations (including neighborhood resource sites) or from our call center during this time.

Report Abuse or Neglect
If you suspect child abuse or neglect, or the abuse, neglect, or exploitation of an at-risk adult in Denver, call the Denver County Child Welfare and Adult Protective Services hotline at 720-944-3000.

File a Child Welfare Complaint

Before filing a formal complaint about Child Welfare, please contact the supervisor and/or administrator over your case first to try and address your concerns. Direct communication is the easiest way to make sure your concern is heard, and it will allow us to address your concerns in a timely manner.

Per 12 CCR 2509 7.601.81, County departments shall maintain and utilize a written protocol regarding quality assurance and investigatory processes to monitor for falsification of child welfare records in the comprehensive child welfare information system known as Trails.
