Human Together Community Grants

This page is an archive of the Human Together Community Grants, which were awarded to community-based organizations by Denver Human Services (DHS) from 2021-23. We will update this page in the future if there is another opportunity to apply for these grants.

In 2021, Denver Human Services (DHS) released its first Human Together Community Grants funding opportunity, which was based off input from residents and community partners. In these community conversations, you asked DHS to strengthen your work in the community. 2023 was the third year DHS funded community-driven initiatives.

Community-based organizations applied for up to $50,000 in mini-grants. Denver-based organizations were invited to apply for $800,000 in funding to empower communities through tailored navigation services.

2023 Awardees

In fall 2023, Denver Human Services (DHS) invited community-based organizations to apply for up to $50,000 in mini-grants. Awardees created, enhanced, or expanded capacity to support community-based navigation of benefits and local resources. The most vital resources for Denver families and individuals included support with food, housing, employment, social isolation and mental health.

Congratulations to our 2023 Human Together Community Grant awardees!
