Denver Child Support Services (CSS)

Every child deserves emotional, medical and financial support from both parents. Together, we will establish parentage, financial and medical support, and enforce the child support order. Denver Child Support Services (CSS) works with you to identify resources that can address barriers to paying child support. Resources include parenthood programming, workforce readiness, access to mental health services, and more.

Services

In addition to collecting support, our Denver Child Support Services (CSS) team is ready to support families, parents, and children with resources to assist with any barriers you may be facing. We are ready to support families in navigating child support, parenting, and other processes. These may include:

  • Assistance with locating the non-custodial parent
  • Creating a legal relationship between a father and child
  • Establishing paternity
  • Establishing, monitoring, and enforcing medical and child support orders
  • Assistance with finding a job or job training opportunities
  • Resources for food, child care, and housing

Make a Child Support Payment

Child support payments make a difference. Kids do better when they have emotional, medical, and financial support from both their parents.

There are many ways to make a payment. We've listed all of the ways to pay on this page.

Pay Online

The quickest way to make a payment is online. To get started, visit the link below:

Make a Child Support payment online

Mobile/E-Wallet Payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Venmo)

Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Venmo* can now be used to make payments through the Credit Card Payment Website.

At the end of the transaction, you will choose your payment method. Your payment choices will include a credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paypal, or Venmo. 

The credit card company will charge a service fee based on the payment amount.

To use a mobile/e-wallet payment method you will need:

  • A valid email address 
  • Obligor’s name
  • Obligor’s social security number
  • Obligor’s FSR account number

*When making a payment through Venmo, you must use a Safari (iOS) or Chrome (Android) browser.

If an obligor does not have a Social Security Number they can call FSR Customer Service at 303-299-9123 (local) or 800-374-6558 (Nationwide) for a solution.

Pay by Phone

Cost: Free
Processing Time: One day

  • Set up your pay by phone account by completing this Application for Pay by Phone. This process takes a few days and you will get a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to use to make payments. You will receive your PIN in the mail within five days.
  • Once you receive your PIN, make your payment by calling 303-299-9123 (local) or 800-374-6558 (toll-free) and follow the instructions for pay-by-phone. You can schedule your payment up to 30 days in advance.

Pay by Check or Money Order

Cost: Current postage rates and money order fees
Processing Time: Two to three days from the day of payment

To get started, purchase a money order at Walmart, 7-Eleven, or the post office. Write your FSR number and name, and mail it to:

  • Your FSR account number
  • Your name
  • Your court case number
  • The amount to remit for each FSR account, if you are paying multiple FSR accounts
