Denver's cold weather shelters will open at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16 and will remain open as long as cold weather conditions continue.
Most City and County of Denver offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 19 in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. Solid waste collection will be on a regular schedule; customers should set carts out on their regular collection day.
Our services and benefits are accessible by phone, online and in person. In most instances, we can help you without you needing to come to our building. Appointments are available for Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT). EBT cards can also be mailed via priority mail.
