DHS reopens second-floor lobby at Richard T. Castro
Published on April 05, 2024
Denver Human Services (DHS) is encouraging customers to choose what is best for them to access support – whether it is online, by phone or in-person. The department has eight strategic locations in northeast, southeast, southwest, and central Denver. With these diverse options, customers have easier access to DHS’ essential services across the city.
“As the newer leader of Denver Human Services, I am excited to announce the reopening of the second-floor lobby at the Castro Center to support our growth and caseload,” said Anne-Marie Braga, DHS executive director. “We moved food, medical, cash, and Electronic Benefit Transfer eligibility services to the Castro Center, while maintaining the Welcome Center for Child Support Services and community resources. Our goal is to ensure we are meeting customers where they are and that they can receive services in a way that works for them.”
These services are available Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., to customers online or by calling 720-944-4DHS:
