Denver Invites Community to Support #BeAGiver Holiday Gift Drive

Published on December 04, 2024

Now through December 9, community can brighten the holiday season for Denver residents

DENVER (November 27, 2024) – Denver Human Services (DHS) is excited to announce its annual #BeAGiver Holiday Gift Drive, aimed at spreading joy to Denver families, children and older adults this holiday season. Community members are invited to participate by donating gifts or making a monetary donation. The drive runs through December 9.

In 2023, DHS collected nearly 2,300 gifts supporting 1,234 children and adults. Through a donor matching program, the drive connected 1,246 individuals with a community donor who provided gifts from their specific wish lists. This year, DHS hopes to surpass those milestones with the community's continued support.

“The generosity of Denver residents never ceases to amaze us,” said Anne-Marie Braga, Executive Director of Denver Human Services. “Each year, our #BeAGiver Holiday Gift Drive demonstrates the incredible compassion and commitment of our community to ensure that everyone feels the joy and warmth of the holiday season. Together, we can support Denver families, children, teenagers, and older adults in our protection and prevention programs.”

There are several ways community members can get involved:
