Budget and Management Office

The Budget and Management Office oversees all aspects of the city's budget, working to facilitate balanced, equitable and fiscally responsible annual budgets. The division is also home to Peak Performance and Peak Academy, the city's performance improvement program. Peak Performance partners with city departments and agencies to empower employees to improve their work processes through training, coaching, and support.

City Budget

The City Budget Book provides detailed information about the City and County of Denver's estimated revenues and expenditures for the ensuing fiscal year and serves as a work plan for the city and its departments, including a framework for setting priorities, strategic initiatives, and performance.

Denver Peak

Denver Peak guides process improvement through several project support services and Denver Peak Academy trainings. Since its inception, Denver Peak has grown to become a respected leader for its approach to innovation in government. The City and County of Denver has saved over $50 million through efforts by individuals and agencies that have engaged with the Peak program.

Transparent Denver

Transparent Denver is the City and County of Denver's financial hub for open, transparent review of revenues, expenses, property & taxation, monthly reports, contracts, major city reports like the 'Community Report', 'Mayor’s Budget', and 'Comprehensive Financial Report', and more.

National Community Survey

The 2021 National Community Survey (NCS) is snapshot in time about how Denver residents from across geographical areas, ethnicities, and ages feel about their city.
