Photo of Director Armando SaldateThe Denver Department of Public Safety’s (DOS) mission is to provide essential public safety services to Denver communities while acting with compassion, care, and integrity. DOS unifies all of Denver’s safety agencies including the Denver Police Department, Denver Fire Department, Denver Sheriff Department, Denver 9-1-1, and Community Corrections to ensure coordinated, transparent, and timely services to our city. Additionally, the department oversees the Public Safety Cadet Program and Street Engagement Team.
