DENVER – Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI) would like the public to be aware that the Speer Boulevard tunnel between Bannock Street and Grant Street will close for a routine safety inspection at 11:00 p.m. Saturday, June 28, and reopen by 9:00 a.m. Sunday, June 29.
People travelling eastbound will be detoured from Speer Boulevard onto N. Broadway to 6th Avenue, where they can then head south to get back onto Speer. Travel on westbound Speer will not be impacted.
DOTI encourages people to give themselves a little extra time to go around the temporary closure and appreciates the public’s patience.
