Q: How long have you been in business?
A: Star has been in business since October 21, 2002.
Q: What is your scope of work on the Colorado Convention Center Expansion Project?
A: Low voltage cabling.
Q: Were there any challenges (such as billing/payment, bidding, scheduling, labor, etc.) that the City and County of Denver or Hensel Phelps assisted you with? If so, what were they and how were the challenges addressed?
A: There were no challenges at all with either the City and County of Denver, Hensel Phelps or E2 Optics.
Q: Are there any recent projects that you were awarded or recently completed that you are particularly proud of? If so, why?
A: Star is very proud to have been involved with the Blair Caldwell DPL remodel and network upgrade. We feel the site has a lot of cultural significance that is important to the community.

A: Civil Technology has been in business since 1989.
Q: What is your scope of work on the Colorado Convention Center Expansion Project?
A: Civil Technology performed part of the structural steel inspection.
Q: Were there any challenges (such as billing/payment, bidding, scheduling, labor, etc.) that the City and County of Denver or Hensel Phelps assisted you with? If so, what were they and how were the challenges addressed?
A: There were no challenges in these areas.
Q: What is the most helpful method of outreach when pursuing applicable bid packages?
A: One-on-one meetings with the Hensel Phelps staff allowed us to build a relationship.
Servitech Inc.

Q: How long have you been in business?
A: Servitech, Inc. has been in business since 7/16/1998.
Q: What is your scope of work on the Colorado Convention Center Expansion Project?
A: Servitech Inc. is providing all low-voltage conduit and sleeves for AV, DAS, and Tele/data into each telecom room. We are also providing grounding and bonding for all the new telecom rooms and the Champa stairs. Servitech is also doing all the conduit and wire for the expanded fire alarm system.
Q: Has your contract with the Colorado Convention Expansion Project positively impacted your business? If so, in what ways?
A: Yes – we have increased our workforce to 10-15 electricians working on site. During this time we have developed working relationships with some of the other contractors as well.
Q: What is the most helpful method of outreach when pursuing applicable bid packages?
A: One-on-one with electrical/low-voltage contractors. It gives us the opportunity to bid work and develop a working relationship.
