Voting is Closed

Thank you, Denver! Public voting for the Sidewalk Program Stamp Contest is now closed. 

Earlier this year, we invited community members to submit original designs that could be incorporated into concrete sidewalks throughout Denver. After reviewing eligible submissions, a panel representing a range of city leadership and community voices selected five finalists to advance to the public vote. 

Thank you to everyone who submitted a design and to everyone who participated in the public vote. We appreciate the community's creativity and enthusiasm for helping shape Denver's sidewalks.

What Happens Next? 

The votes are being reviewed and counted. The winner of the Sidewalk Program Stamp Contest will be announced in fall 2026. Expect to start seeing the winning stamp's imprint in Denver's sidewalks next year!

How the finalists were selected

Following the July 31 submission deadline, eligible submissions were reviewed to ensure they met the contest requirements. A panel representing a range of city leadership and community voices then reviewed and scored the qualifying designs based on the following criteria: 

  1. Practicality: The design should hold up over time in concrete and be easily manufactured at the required size. 
  2. Creativity and Originality: The design should present a unique idea, reflecting a strong perspective or concept. 
  3. Clarity and Legibility: The design should be easy to understand at a glance, with clear shapes, lines, and text. 
  4. Connection to Denver: The design should meaningfully reflect Denver’s identity, culture, community, or environment.
